Ann Rinaldi Books and Historical Fiction for youth

Post by LizzaDizza202 »

Growing up Ann Rinaldi books were my favorite, these books were amazing and vivid. These books were the perfect balance of historical and fiction. The history was so close to accurate which is amazing to youth, students, and the future. I think the purpose to historical fiction is to inspire an appreciation for history while making it a connection we can feel. What are other's thoughts on the idea of historical fiction?
The best of her works were:
Finishing Becca
Time Enough for Drums
An Acquaintance with Darkness
