Icon A Texas Ranger

William Raine's novel was easy to read and held my interest. Many errors in typing made this kindle edition a challenge. Novel about a Texas Ranger that finds himself in jail after helping a couple being shot at and a man is killed. He becomes under-cover to escape from hanging and agrees to catch the killers of a range war. He infiltrates the mountain and falls in love with one of the girls. Naturally the killer he was seeking is there but soon all believe he is there after the range war killers. Since he finds out what happened during the range war he decided not to mention them since the killer he was after murdered the one that did the actual shooting and he is able to arrest him. Naturally the girl then falls for him. Made to sound like the mountain is a hide-out for criminals although there was only the one besides the shooter in the so called war. Many spats between the 2 in love to keep things interesting. Enjoyable book that was free on kindle.
