The Texan's Irish Bride by Caroline Clemmons is a great novel. I enjoyed every minute of it. The plot is entertaining.

Starting out with a forced marriage between a rancher and a Irish girl from a traveling wagon set-up. The girl was rescued from 2 that had rape planned. The rancher was shot seriously in the process.

The parents of the girl caught them in a compromising position. They used that to force the marriage. They were trying to protect her from the man in charge that was so abusive.

They did not realize that he was kind and had his own ranch with a large family. They were not exactly having a easy time with the other members either.

By the time he was married he had agreed to let them all stay on his ranch. Many serious events occurred before all had made several serious decisions. The book ending on a happy note with most. I have enjoyed several by this author. She has the Western life down pat during the 1800's. Free on Amazon now.
