Ride the Fire by Pamela Clare

Post by mkel138 »

This the first books I've read from this author but this was a very well-written and engaging book. It was one of those books that you just don't want to put down; the book covers a lot of the couples story. Unlike many historical books that don't dive into much back story or struggles of the couple, but this book covered much of the ground from the meeting to the marriage. There were many historically accurate facts and situations that the characters go through in the backwoods of the West; which is very much appreciated by me compared to the alternative that many historical writers brush over and choose not to discuss. If you are looking for more historical accuracy and a great romance story this is the book for you.
