Lynn Austin- Refiner's Fire series

Post by chelle1285 »

I have read a series by Lynn Austin titled Refiner's Fire. Name of books are Candle in the Darkness, Fire by Night, and A Light to my Path. It is a romance historical. These books are about the Civil War with romance. They are roughly 400 pages long for each book. I read all three books in 2 weeks time. They were really good. Every chance I got i was reading. They have got me intrigued in Civil War time era. I highly recommend these books.

I also have read Candle in the Darkness, and really enjoyed it! I have the other two books waiting on my shelf. Lynn Austin did a marvelous job of recreating the Civil War period, and bringing life to her characters. Thanks for reminding me of these books, I should finish the series.

Do you read other Civil War era historical fiction authors?
