Yes, check Amazon. It's available for Kindle. Also, you can get it for Nook on Barnes & Noble.

This book definitely presents a different perspective of the war. It's not flag-waving, patriotic nonsense - which is cliche and superficial, IMO - but a thoughtful exploration of more serious, deeper themes from a completely non-American perspective.

Your enthusiasm for this story shows in your amazing review. You've given a very in-depth account of what seems like a very well-written story about WWII. This book sounds like it will certainly give its readers a lot to think about.

I used to avoid reading books about war. I didn't want to think about war because wars are so devastating. Then I decided I should force myself to learn what my father and my father-in-law went through, and also what their loved ones went through, while they were away at war. After reading your review, this book is one that I definitely want to add to my reading list.

Congratulations to the author for writing what sounds like a very powerful, thought-provoking, and well-written book.
