Sisyer B talks about racism and descrimination, which is good for awareness. But I do not see how this would entertain an individual. However, congratulations on BOTD.

The life of sister B is inspiring. From being a simple african woman working to make both ends to being a nurse and a leader for humanitarian cause. She is a perfect model for a woman who did not yield to challenges but emerged victorious. This is a great book that I will read when I am available! Congrats BOTD!

Thank you for the lovely review. Does the entire story take place during WWII or is the time span much wider? We certainly need more novels of this sort to bring all aspects and perspectives of history to light in an engaging way. I will have to read this once I finish a few others.

This seems to be a fascinating story. I'm intrigued by the tackling of racial, social, and cultural issues given by the approaches to Sister B and Akio. The social struggles are transcendent themes. Thank you for this review, this is certainly a book I want to read.

It sounds like a great historical novel. I do also little romance and mystery, both of which are provided in this novel. The struggle of sisters can be a great motivation for many people.

I liked the theme of the book on racist society. The fact despite that the two main characters got close. The most interesting part was that it was based on historical elements. great review.

Thanks for the lovely review. Sister B seems like a fascinating story that covers racism in America. Novels of this sort are important to remind us of the struggles blacks and other non-Americans went and still go through.

Racism is a big menace most Africans faced around the world. I hope sister B triumphs in her bid to survive. Congrats on being the book of the day!

The book has a lot to offer to any reader, one outstanding moral in the review was the wellness to block all noise that is thrown at you. Racism is a common predicament in the society, but for you stand tall, you have to ignore many people.

This historical fiction highlights several themes through Sister B, a young African American woman. She overcame racial discrimination, and other sacrifices that led her to become one of the first African Americans to be hired as a nurse. The book is inspiring and has mystery and romance to spice up the reading. Great review!

I love that this young woman wants to make a better life for her family. Trying to make the world a better place is a star book for me. I’m usually not into historical fiction and I stick to only one genre but this sounds like a magnificent book congratulations on the BOTD and thank you for the great review
