Oh, I love historical fiction; the stories seem so real because the characters are real. I'm usually filled with awe in the splendor of these great men who once walked the earth. My soul is already yearning for this book; the game of thrones is always an enthralling experience for me. I won't miss the palace gossip, backstabbing, and intrigue for anything. Thanks for this revealing review.

I liked the clever combination of history and fiction. It's hard to make a time period that is so widely written about unique and I think it really puts into perspective how good a book is when it is able to stand out among the other books of the like.

The cover of this book and the appearance that it's non-fiction (although I read in the OBC review that it's indeed a novel) are the reasons I won't be reading this book.

I like historical novels, and Cleopatra's story is a fascinating one. I can't wait to read the book to find out what happens to Caspar. Thank you for the review.

A book about another side to Cleopatra sounds interesting. Even though, I am not a fan of historical novels, this stands out to me. Thanks for the detailed review.

I haven't read a novel about Cleopatra before. Maybe Caspar will enlighten me on how the rise and fall of Cleopatra was done, as well as his own destiny. I am interested in reading this. Great review.

Cleopatra certainly is an interesting figure to write a historical fiction about. Congratulations on BOTD!

I'm a big fan of ancient cicilizarions. So a historical fiction on Cleopatra is something I can't ignore. Its a great added benefit that it has maps and illustrations.

The review is pulling me. I never put my attention to a historical event book, never touched in my life in fact.. But this is quite interest as I have heard the word of mage before, in an anime. So I am dying to know what it is all about :) thank you for the nice review.

This book sounds interesting. I have always been curious about the untold story of Cleopatra and the Roman Empire. But I'm not sure if I'd enjoy reading the book. Some of the story narrated in historical fiction is not entirely true and are just the author's creativity. It might change our perception of the real backstory to another misunderstanding. Thank you for a nice review.
