It's inspiring to read about people that change their circumstances in life despite the obstacle of lacking basic things. Will John inspire me? Good review.

'Having a positive mindset whining facing life's obstacles.' Now that's a good lesson I'd like to apply in my life. Also, I like that John built on what he enjoyed doing. Nice review.

John seems like an inspiring character. Despite all the difficulties he encountered as a child, he never gave up. The message conveyed by the story of having a positive mindset when facing life's obstacles is applaudable. Sounds interesting!

John the poor Irish-American wrestler become successful no doubt and I am furiously encouraged by John's story, ones dreams should be determined by passion, not by background. I am consumed with inspiration over this review.

This sounds like an inspiring novel with some important life lessons to motivate the readers. The author's choice of characters is fascinating. For an illiterate young man to pursue his dream is an inspiring story that I can't miss. Thanks for this amazing review!

Ambition is certainly the right title for this book. We all love an underdog story, and this book delivers. A great writing style with a good pace.

The BOTD is a story about how your background doesn't determine your future. Hope is a major theme, and where you have hope you will have happiness. John's story features his journey from the streets to a palace.

Though biographies are not exactly my cup of tea the book sounds really interesting and John's story is very inspiring. Being determined and persistant in achieving your goals in life is a nice lesson to learn for everyone. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting historical fiction following two poor Irish Immigrants who worked and struggled to make a better life for their son. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

'Ambitions' by Frank Baillargeon - A captivating read that follows John Morrissey's remarkable journey from the streets to success. This book beautifully illustrates the importance of perseverance and embracing challenges. Pinning this as a must-read for those seeking motivation and a reminder that dreams are achievable with dedication.

This is an interesting storyline. Just at a young age, John was expected to start working. I like how he didn't go into the negative side of street fighting. The passion he had for it made him think ahead to becoming a professional fighter which is a very strong determination and courage.

John's journey from a struggling immigrant to a professional fighter is trully inspiring. It is nice to discover a story that uplifting. However, I don't really feel for the topic of fight working... so I'll pass this one. Thank you for your insightful review.
