I do not like to read any story about the war at this time, but I greatly appreciate the author's ability to express the psychological suffering of the soldiers and write an interesting story that deserves to be read.

That book's title seems fascinating. Reading about how war is, makes us more appreciative of life. Many people should read this book, in my opinion. Congrats on winning BOTD.

"From Hell to Home" by DJ Power seems like an interesting story of a man who defiled death. I will read to know how James managed to recover from his debilitating injury.

This is an interesting piece of historical fiction. A survivor from a head wound, presumed dead, continues his duty following his recovery. What impact has this trauma had on him?

This sounds like an intriguing story. It’s really rare to see people recover from a headshot. I admire the author's method of writing the flashbacks.

The entrance story of the book was intense as it was saving someone's life. The journey of James throughout the book is something that excites me since his head injury is a major one and might change his attitude along the way. The only thing that distracts me from enjoying this book is the font size. Nevertheless, congratulations to the author on BOTD!

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how James Coleman got on with his life after his injury from war and how this affected his relationships and roles in the society. I’m wondering also why he was ordered to leave his family and fiancee back home and also not write to them for a long while. There’s only one way to find out!

It is odd for the military to tell James to forget about his family. My guess is they notified the the family that he was killed in action. The military is strict about the fitness of a person to perform their duty. I am curious to see why they kept him. Nice review.

James definitely was given up for dead, it's hard to believe he'd survive a headshot. Having to continue as a CIA agent after this experience must have been wild. Should be a good read

An incredible story about how James gets a second chance after a failed mission in Vietnam. I can not imagine what he went through. The plot seems interesting. But I am not a fan of profanity in reads nor interested in war-based books. Anyway, thank you for a captivating and well detailed review.

This sounds like an awesome war store full of suspense, mystery, and humor. Since this is the third book in the Vietnam story series, I'll check out the entire series to see if it's something I would read. Great review!

Thank you for your thorough review. I am glad that you enjoyed it so much. That must have been so frightening to be in a body bag and still alive. I'm wondering if his family knows he is still alive since he wasn't to contact them for a long time. War stories aren't something that I enjoy, so I will pass on it, but due to its wonderful editing and character development, I'm sure that those that enjoy this genre will be glad to pick it up.
