I wise person once said: "People always remembers the first 4 seconds of a story and the last 10". This book keeps you hooked since the very first paragraph until the end. I really enjoyed reading it!! The body itself, is also really nicely put together! It takes you through different perspectives of what's happening throughout the story and changes your perception about many things!

Thank you for an insightful review. I enjoyed the sample but felt the misgivings when she left her eight year old son to come home alone in a rowdy city. I enjoyed how the character was described and her feelings as she reflects back on her life and the mistakes that were made.

I loved reading the review of "City of Redemption by June Ahern". A story which is well-plotted, giving glimpses of the past events, describing each moment that a mother was gone trough the hardships of finding her son, who was ultimately found dead. A best reviewer increases the worth and publicity of a book very well. This novel is so well illustrated by the reviewer that it would make the book-lovers to get it and read it as soon as possible.
I hope the chapter one which is full of emotions, won't spare anyone from crying.
I would love to read this book as soon as possible.

Great review! This book sounds like it is well written despite its flaws. I like that you say that the characters are realistic. I love books that accurately describe and capture the spirit of a certain place and time.

The review of the book is well explained by June Ahern.I will suggest that a form of comedy at the end of the prose will make it more interesting to read.Anyway congrats.on being the BOTD

A very detailed review that lets readers help make quick decision about whether to read the book or not. Its always nice to see reviews that give an elaborate glimpse into the book, all the while, not revealing the crux of it. :)

Nice review that sets the stage nicely and tells readers exactly what they should expect out of the book. The quality of writing and the writing style is extremely important to me, so I dont know if I will be reading this one. Thanks for the review.
