The book of as an engaging and captivating historical fiction and mysticism. The narrative that introduces a man on a mission to towards the Magi from entering Jerusalem. Is life takes a new turn when he was mesmerized by the inexplicable Maggie, eventually relinquish his military power to become The apprentice.
Throughout his journey Rassan faces stack of obstacles and adventures that test his determination. The story unfold several themes like betrayal, suspense, and and enduring struggle between loyalty, treachery and profound Discovery.

I comment the author because the story stays true to historical information, and it's depicts how much of research the author did. It is a well-written book that explores the dynamics of human determination and activities.

Following Rassan's journey to unravel the mystery of the creator's champion, filled with political intrigue and astronomical exploration. Biblical historical fiction isn't my cup of tea. I really appreciate that this book is well researched. But I'm not interested to learn about Christian beliefs on astronomy. Thank you for your in-depth review.

The point that readers would love the author's ability to create a riveting story surrounding the Eastern Magi depicted in the Bible is worth mentioning in the review. Most importantly, readers would love watching the author learn to endure and overcome as he pursues God's plan for his life. Also, as mentioned in the review, the book describes how much the study of stars played into Biblical events. I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to be with Rassan as he searches for the meaning life through his adventures. Is he the prophesied champion? Will he be able to survive all the dangers thrust by the enemies set to thwart his destiny?

This book is going to show us, from a different point of view, about a part of the ancient history that the Bible tells us about the birth of Jesus. However, it tells specifically about the oriental magicians, a little of their history before their appearance in ancient texts.

Hi, Erin. Thank you for the great review of this book. My interest in the political climate and history of the Middle East near the date of Jesus Christ's birth grew while I was reading your review. How the study of the stars ties into the Bible is very intriguing. It would be good to learn more about those famous wise men who journeyed to visit Jesus and brought him gifts. This book is going on my bookshelves. Have a nice day. :techie-studyinggray:

Thank you for the wonderful review. This book sounds very interesting. It sounds like there is a little bit of everything in this book. I am a Christian, but I must admit I didn't realize all of the astronomical and political happenings before and around the time of Jesus's birth. I am adding this to my list of books to read. It will be interesting to find out just how the three wise men safely made it through everything to find Jesus.
