Thank you for the excellent review of "The Sun and the Moon of Alexandria" by Ray Filby. Apollos learns of the great pyramids from his tutor and embarks on a journey from Alexandria to Giza. On the way he meets and discusses ideas with early Christians. Historians will enjoy the depth of character that the author was able to portray.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

A fascinating read on Apollo's journey from Alexandria to Giza to see the Pyramids. I wonder why he was so fixated on the pyramids, though.
Anyway, "The Sun and the Moon of Alexandria" by Ray Filby expounded on Apollo's solitary quest and provided his unique perspective on civilization.

It's great to see a different perspective of the apostles' missionary journey, especially from Apollos' eyes. However, I don't read nonfiction, so I'll skip this book.

I enjoy reflecting on Biblical characters, imagining what life must have been like for them in their time, and considering what it’s like now for those who choose to follow in their footsteps. It's always fascinating to delve into the culture and history of these people, as it deepens my appreciation for history. Apollos, being the main focus of this book and his Christian faith, is particularly intriguing. The author has thoughtfully conveyed Apollos' work and the impact he had on the Jerusalem synagogue and others along his journey. I’m interested in seeing the path he took, the people he encountered, and how those experiences shaped his mission. While stories like this can sometimes be long and tedious, I’m still eager to explore it.
