This book seems absolutely amazing. I am so glad to see you whole-heartedly gave it 4 stars. The sample had me so captivated. I loved when Xavier found his father's memoirs. This seems like a story with a lot of intrigue, philosophy, and governmental issues. I can't wait to read it. Thanks for the excellent review.

I enjoy anything fiction as long as it has a great storyline. From the little I have read, it seems Hunter Dennis has got his reader fully involved in the plot of this beautiful novel - this would be a super interesting quality of this novel.

It's a must read for me, thank you for this beautiful review!!!

I am very excited to read this books, like many peoples reviews above mine people have said they most likely wouldn't have read the book if it weren't for the amazedly detailed review. I can very confidently say that the review of this book has turned me on to the world of historical novels. The in depth love the reviewer had for the novel was astonishing and I'm sold, I can't wait to read this book.

Well done!

it seems fascinating. I like that the author creates time lapses to present the events, and because I love historical novels, this one is on my list.

Hello French history... I'm really looking forward to read this book because of the positive review. Well written historical fiction with great characters, captivating storyline and edge of the seat action.

Sounds like an interesting book on history and heirlooms. It sounds like though the student is being blackmailed this story is an adventure. It seems like the students life began in France. That's when he really started living. I'd love to read this.

Your review has convinced me to read this book. I'm not a huge fan of historical fiction, but this one seems to have so much mystery, drama, and intrigue. Plus, I always love a mention of a secret society!

I wasn’t sure that this was going to be the sort of book that I would really want to read, but after learning how well-researched this book is, I’m re-thinking that position. I love intelligent historical fiction, especially if it is the sort with a great story.

Amazing! What an excellent review. The way you describe how you were completely immersed in the story is thrilling. I can't wait to add this historical fiction to my list of books I must read. I love historical fiction in general, but this sounds above and beyond what I would normally read. Thank you for sharing.
