An amazing historical-fiction novel "My Friend Marilyn" by Christopher Lentz, which is loaded with doze of romance and focuses on revolves around the life of Marilyn Monroe in Hotel Coronado during a film shooting and her assistant Penny Parker. The books looks quite appealing to read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

The life without friend is meaningless. I love these kind of friendship stories. It may be a large book but it doesn't stop me to read it. Looks like a great book contains value of friendship, love, etc., Really excited.😁 Thanks for the review.

Seeing Marilyn Monroe through a teenage-girl's eyes would be exciting for readers who enjoy reading about celebrities. Great review!

I am not a big fan of romance or this type of biography like historical stories. I will pass on this one. But I enjoyed your review. Thank you

This book sounds like the perfect combination of history, adventure, and hopefully humor. I can’t wait to see how Marilyn Monroe turns that girls life upside down.

Even if Marilyn is not the main character in this book, I would still like to read it. I like historical fiction and it would be nice to read something of this era. Thanks for your review!

Thankyou for the wonderful review! I had read the sample pages and i can feel that it is a masterpiece. I agree with your comment on the author's skill in painting a picture with words. He so masterfully brings about that atmosphere of the time and place the story is set in. I can imagine myself reading it in the afternoon on my porch with some coffee, sitting on an armchair!

Your review is written very nicely! I want to read the book to find out more about the characters. It's a shame the author ended it too quickly.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting historical fiction novel focused on Penny Parker, the assistant to Marilyn Monroe, and follows Penny as she interacts with Marilyn and others that will change her life forever. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Usually historical fiction books about celebrities don't interest me. However, this book seems to brings the perspective of someone who was close to Marilyn Monroe instead, which brings a unique aspect. I might give it a try. Thanks for the review!

I like that the actress touched Penny in a positive way since Penny had come from a dysfunctional home. I like the positive change that came as a result. Nice review.
