I've been a huge fan of wrestling since I was a kid. Even though the story about Squirt is fictional, the author will provide readers with the origins of wrestling. I cannot wait to read this story.

Richard W. Kelly seems to have written a very creative historical fiction imagining 'Squirt' John Malone narrating autobiography. Sampling the book I found it very engaging and intriguing. Your review is very well written without giving away too much. Congratulations on the BOTD!

This author also impressed me with his writing style. I forgot I was reading fiction! If anyone wants a great story, pull up a chair and listen (read). Thank you for your review, I am glad to hear the entire book is as good as the sample.

The historical fiction "The Early Years of Squirt Malone is interesting to read and the way it turns and relates wrestling is further surprising by the author Richard W. Kelly. I must say that it is an admiring book.

Today's book rekindles interest in professional wrestling. It will appeal to fans of the sport because it tracks its history and development over time. The persistence of the main character is also inspirational.

Although it's a historical fiction, this sounds like a biography of John 'Squirt' Malone. Those who enjoy wrestling will definitely find it appealing. I'll also sample it to see if it's something I would enjoy.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

Voice is very important when writing in first person, and it sounds like this author knew what he was doing when writing this book. A historical fiction book that could be mistaken for an autobiography seems compelling and character-driven. Thank you for the helpful review.

What a courageous 12 years old boy who left his home to achieve his dream to become a professional wrestler. This books sounds like an autobiography but its fictional, that's what amazed me. Great review.

Thank you for your great review. I also liked the writing style and I like the fact that it is told in the first person. Even though it is fiction, it is written like a memoir. I usually enjoy that. Though wrestling isn't my favorite thing, it is written about back when my grandparents were born. I believe I will give it a try.

Thank you so much for sharing your review of "The Early Years of 'Squirt' Malone"! Your appreciation for the writing style is evident, and I couldn't agree more with your sentiments. Richard W. Kelly has indeed crafted a captivating narrative that draws readers in and makes them feel like they're part of the story.

I completely understand how you initially assumed it was an autobiography due to the immersive nature of the first-person point of view. It's a testament to the author's skill in bringing the narrator's voice to life and making the story feel incredibly authentic.

I also appreciate how you highlighted the impressive organization of the book. The seamless flow from chapter to chapter and the relevance of each section contribute to the overall enjoyment of the story. It's refreshing when a book keeps you engaged without any unnecessary detours.

Furthermore, John Malone, or 'Squirt,' emerges as a compelling protagonist. The way he balances between immaturity and bravery creates a realistic and relatable character. His tenacity and unwavering desire to succeed are admirable qualities that keep readers hooked, and I'm glad you found yourself rooting for him throughout his journey.

Thank you once again for your wonderful review. It's evident that "The Early Years of 'Squirt' Malone" left a lasting impression on you, and I hope it continues to inspire and captivate readers who come across it.

This review on the story of “Squirt”Malone was actually very good. I have never heard of this book and it made me intrigued on reading it and I am not even interested in wrestling, let alone someone who is a wrestler. I liked that the review gave you a snip it of what to expect out of the book and how it was written.
