Thank you for the wonderful review. I enjoyed the book's sample and your review of Saving KC. Romance novels are my favorite genre to read, although this one is a little difficult to read. My husband was in the Vietnam War for two tours of duty, and I admire all of the men who went through all of that for our country.

Hmm, yet again this book is describing the power of love to us. Love's powerful and it's important we have that special person in our lives. it makes this cruel world more palatable to live in. Big kudos to the author for winning BOTD with this book!

I enjoyed reading the review. I find it amazing that Kelly found the strength and will to rebuild his life after going through so much. War is traumatizing and destructive; it is so nice that Kelly found love again. He was saved in many ways.

Your review of 'Saving KC' by Grinell Desjarlais is insightful and highlights his experiences of love and trauma of being a soldier. The way you described his trauma and recovery interwoven with his cultural insights and how he rediscovered his love life makes this book an enlightening read.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Kelly coped up with his trauma after his stint in the army and mission and how this affected his relationships with the people around him and the community he lives in.

The characterization of Kelly as the rescued soldier who lives a traumatized life after his rescue and how his new love gives him hope to live a peaceful life seems captivating.

"Saving KC" by Grinnell Desjarlais is a romance novel based on Kelly, who joins the army and gets captured by the enemies. His journey after he is rescued, the trauma, the flashbacks, and his journey to cope with it. It is about him finding love again when he was going through all this. A very detailed and honest review indeed. Thank you.

Wow, after reading the sample, I wouldn't have guessed that this was romance fiction. I suppose that will come into the story a bit later. His three-year captivity sounded like pure hell. I'm looking forward to seeing if he gets his happy ending.

Soldiers' life isn't easy. They have seen so many wars and bloods. It will deeply affect their mental health. The author excellently narrated the Kelly with characteristics of post war experience and how he finds his new path through love.

The portrayal of the impact of war and the subsequent struggles with trauma was not just a narrative. The exploration of love as a healing force resonated profoundly, reminding me that even in the darkest moments, the power of love can illuminate the path to recovery.
