Egypt is one of the earliest civilizations. And there's so much to learn from their history aside from the pyramids. Thank you for a very thorough review. Keep it up.

Thank you for your thorough review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. This just isn't a genre I really enjoy. I appreciate you explaining it so well and in-depth. It's nice when a book grabs you for the beginning and doesn't let go.

This seems like an interesting book. I'm intrigued by the difficult Lord Hani might have faced while trying to stick to his religion and obey the King .

I am not really a fan of historical fiction but ancient Egypt is an interesting time to read about.

Divining into Lord Hani's life during a time when King Akhenaten was the ruler seems to be an interesting period to read about. Egyptian history is already fascinating to read.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I like that the author chose to use informal language, but I am not currently interested in reading a historical fiction novel, so I am going to pass on this one.

I love historical books that explore the relationship between the ancient people and us. The Egyptians do have rich history. Great review.

N.L. Holmes dishes us a beautiful plate of historical Egyptian fiction. Set In 1350 B.C. but still written in an understandable manner. He portrays Egypt from a different point of view.

The title of the novel seems fitting and a bit mysterious. Congratulations to the author for BOTD, and thanks to the reviewer for such a detailed and insightful review.

I find ancient Egypt is quite an interesting setting for a book, and how family is portrayed by the author is quite commendable. I'm interested in the book. Flawless review.
