King David is my favourite Bible character and I'll love to read about him in this book because it seems like it will be an exciting read. Great review.

"David God's Chosen Crucible" by Joseph Ganci is based on 1 Samuel 23:26-2 through 12:31 from the Old Testament. The author's unique writing style brings to life his tale of David. I have read the Bible several times but there is so much information in the stories that I do not remember David having two opportunities to kill Saul even though Saul wanted to kill David to keep his throne. The official reviewer described Saul as the "power-hungry mad king and David had God watching over him and He used divine intervention to keep David safe. David had his faults and committed sins but God believed in him and forgave him many times. Most members probably knew the story of David before they read this book or the official review but the way this author writes made the entire story much more magnificent. Very good review.

This sounds like a very character-driven book. It is amazing that such a few chapters of the Bible can be expanded into a full book, filling the gaps that were left out of the holy book. Well done on the review.

I'm not that well-versed in the Bible, so I cannot say that this book is geared toward me. Congratulations to the author for having the BOTD.

An abrahamic religion based book "David God's Chosen crucible" by Joseph Ganci, which is focuses on King David, the King of Israel and Judah. The author's way of dramatizing the near-possibilities of events in the life of David makes it interesting.

The book seem to be interesting judging from your review; it would be a good read but sadly, I'm not into biblical historical stories.
