This a historical fiction story based on Corporal James Coleman's experience during the Vietnam War. He was brought back to life after being declared killed in action. Then he recuperates and continues as a CIA agent in the Marines. But I am not sure why he wasn't allowed to return to his fiancée and family back home. It is an intriguing story line. Terrific book review!

This sounds like a great historical fiction. I haven't read many war stories but I'm curious to see what James does with his second chance at life.

It is the third installment in a historical fiction series about the Vietnam War. This book appears to delve into the repercussions of war on the physical and personal lives of individuals who heroically served their nation. Those who followed the series and fans of this genre might want to look into it.

‪What a great start to the book with someone close to the story in a body bag! From there I was hooked . A great action packed story that will keep you tiring the page . If you like military style books this is the one for you. ‬

Vietnam stories are very frightening to me as they are so real. I wonder how often someone who they thought dead is really alive! Scarry.

In this intriguing story, the protagonist's portrayal, who works in Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and survives traumatic incidents seem astounding.

This sounds like an interesting book for someone that likes the genre. The reviewer did a great job of pulling me in and making want to check it out, the plot sounds like it goes past the war and into what the main character goes through in his life with his brain injury.

We never know how the wheels of life will turn
But from having a gun shot in the head to a body bag only to be rescued is quite a fate
His recovery left him in a very compromised but being alive brought hope

Several personalities were featured each executing his defined purpose
The review was so well written it made reading the book a delightful anticipated experience

The Vietnam War isn’t really my era when it comes to historical fiction. The book sounds intriguing overall, and I have enjoyed one short story collection about the Vietnam War in the past, but I don’t think this is really my cup of tea. Thank you for the helpful review.

This well-written historical fiction novel seems to capture the determination and resilience a human being is capable of, even at a huge cost. Great review!

I curious to read how James even survived the gunshot to the head in the first place. This truly sounds like an intriguing book and I think the flash backs he experience is a perfect touch, this surely helps the reader to connect the dots.
Definitely adding this to my WTR list. Thanks for a great review.

The first chapter was riveting, and you've confirmed that I'll enjoy this book, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens now they know he's alive. I agree, the descriptions of events does make you feel like you're watching a movie.
