I think Stigmatization of people with unwanted pregnancy in a society contributed to abandonment of unwanted children making them orphans. It always brings sad memories to their lives leaving some phycologically traumatized by the memories and unanswered questions with probably no hope of anyone to answer those questions.

This story seems to cover a lot of emotional topics that many people face in the real world. While I believe it is important to discuss such issues, this book does not sound like my kind of thing.

That sort of emotional distance and confused complexity was certainly explored in detail throughout this novel. Stigmas obviously still exist today, but so many lives were adversely affected back then as well. Psychological traumas and not knowing where you came from... those are certainly heavy burdens to bear over an entire lifetime. Thank you for leaving a meaningful comment!

It does contain a great deal of emotionally relatable topics! Such themes of abandonment, termination, abuse, and heartbreak can make for very heavy reading at times. I greatly appreciate you coming by to read about this one and leave an insightful comment!
