The fact that the book contains massive details of violence and rape, I won't be able to read it. Despite that, I enjoyed reading the book.

I have read more violent books, so I wouldn't say it's excessive. The book is about the Vikings, so unfortunately violence was a big part of their life. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

This seems like a terrific novel for people interesting in Viking history, even if we haven't a lot of information about their discovery of America. Thank you for your great review!

Wow for the book contents and this exquisite review. It makes me want to drop everything and read this book. I love the character transformation, everything about the Vikings and clash with the Indigenous people which is a rare topic to read about from my experience, especially a well-researched work with outstanding writing, plot and character development. Indeed I also see lots of potential in this one, thanks!
