I agree with your assessment that The Cajon Cow and Mockingbird is a good book with some flaws. It is a must-read for fans of fantasy adventure novels, but it may not be to everyone's taste.

I liked how you mentioned that Royce and Hadrian are a great duo. Their banter and friendship are one of the things that makes the book so enjoyable.
I also agree with you that the setting is vividly described. Sullivan does a great job of bringing the world of the Riyria Chronicles to life.
