War affects everyone differently, and it is interesting that the author misses war and all it entails. Thank you for your review.

With vivid descriptions that appeal to all of your senses, this book will take you through a soldier's deployment. Full of humor, wisdom, introspection, detail, and written by someone who actually lived it. It's difficult to put down Graydon's book because he blends academic acumen with grunt-style humor. It is indeed a good book. Thanks for the review and congratulations to the author on BOTD.

The first sentence “I miss war” got me hooked enough to add the book on my shelf. It is indeed peculiar for someone to love chaos. I wonder what runs into the mind of the author when he penned this piece. Great review, congrats on winning the BOTD.

I'm a Swahili speaker. I might relate to the term 'huezielewa' . I find this review comprehending and engaging. Hopefully, the same can be said for the book.

Some people can't help but feel restless when there is peace, it's not that they are advocates of chaos, but they live for the action. Graydon Williams's Either peace or war brings to light how some soldiers feel about peace and war. Congrats on BOTD.

I rarely read memoirs, primarily because I find them dull and listless. But having read the sample of Mr. McWilliams' book, I purchased it immediately. This is magnificent writing right here. I was hooked from the first chapter and look forward to reading this unique book very shortly. Congrats, sir, on your accomplishment.

A captivating opening indeed. Like you rightly said, some things can never be comprehended until experienced personally. Kudos to the author for writing his own story.

The opening words "l miss war" is so intriguing that I'm tempted to read this book. I love books that the ending can not be predicted and this is the perfect book for me. Thanks for this honest and sincere review.

The title itself is already attractive that it eventually captured my attention so as to others. And its very intriguing since it's about military that makes a reader curious of what will happen next.

Thank you very much for this very informative review. I am not interested in the military or learning about a soldiers life so won't be adding this book to my pile!
