You left us with no clue, and I'm guessing how Rachels comes into the picture. Maybe she falls in love with Spanner or something. Your review was well detailed, amd I now hope to read this book because of the info your review left undisclosed. Great work.
Well, thank you. I hope you get to read this, even with the ending, it is still worth your time!

I am only just beginning to love historical fiction and this book really sounds interesting. I am not sure about the 500 pages especially because of the disappointing ending but great review.

This book is so enchanting that 500 pages is not a problem at all! Actually, I could have read more of this. Thank you for stopping by!

I like that the book took into account numerous details that increase its authenticity. A typical example is the stereotypes of the 1970s. Thanks for the reading recommendation.

"Sh*t Happens" by Gavin L James presents a captivating portrayal of lives intertwined amidst societal upheaval. Despite a disappointing ending, the book navigates complex themes with insight and humor, offering a compelling glimpse into historical tumult. A must-read for fans of historical fiction and political intrigue. Thank you for this honest detailed review.

Thank you for this honest review. I can relate so much to the starting paragraph of your review. Sometimes everything happens simultaneously and we begin to think we probably have badluck or something. I just look forward and walk like I don't hear or see the chaos happening.

Sh*t happens depicts characters from different layers of society from two countries. The historical fiction portrays extremely complicated political and societel issues skillfully woven. Thanks for the detailed review.

The historical information at the beginning sets the scene: the Cold War, the Vietnam war, etc, and the story is a fast moving one with a good plot. Different nationalities and politics a part in this story .

This historical fiction sounds interesting as the author takes us on Rachel's journey. As she decides to participate in the anti-war protests and chooses not to mention any of this to her parents.

I never would have imagined a thought-provoking historical novel with that title. Too bad the ending is so disappointing, because I love reading about life in the 70s. Thank you for your honest review.
