Thanks for the great review, hsimone! You make me want to read this book, even though like some others here, reincarnation stories can be off-putting for me. I recently read a romance that worked reincarnation into the story, and while I enjoyed the plot, the reincarnation aspect seemed kind of kooky. I love the historical aspects of your description, and I'll be adding this to my bookshelves!

Thank you, Eatsleaves! This was such a great book that I do hope you get the chance to read it. The reincarnated part was almost like a separate storyline, so I think it worked really well here. When you do get the chance to read this one, I hope you enjoy it too! :D

I just read this book a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed it but I was a little underwhelmed by Amanda and Mark's relationship in the past. They obviously felt a really deep connection and I was hoping for a really strong relationship in their past life but very little time was devoted to that. And I would say Bonnie's feelings for the reincarnated Mark was indifferent. It was still an enjoyable read, I was just hoping for a little more depth of feeling to make their strong connection more believable.

It's been a little while ago since I've read this and I'm having a tough time remembering their relationship. I think I was so intrigued by the multiple historical events that maybe their relationship wasn't the focus point for me. Great to hear someone else's thoughts, though, so thank you for sharing your thoughts, k2rugman! :)

This is such an amazing review for a really great book. I wrote a review on this book a while back and though it wasn't 4 out of 4 stars for me it was still worth the read and the topic of reincarnation though off-putting could be seen as part of the fictional framework of the story. The past-life therapy sessions in this book were well described.

Thank you, Jaime Lync! I wasn't sure how I felt about the reincarnation aspect either, at first. I'm glad that you were able to enjoy the book, too! Yes, I also liked the past-life therapy sessions. Thank you for your thoughts. :)

I love historical fiction, but romance isn't really my thing. For that reason, I will have to pass on this, but thanks for the awesome review!
