Sometimes multiple story lines works and makes sense. It's when it doesn't make sense and they don't connect that I'm left shaking my head!
Very good point, CatInTheHat. I feel the same exact way! :) This one, thank goodness, made sense!

This book sounds really interesting. I love historical fiction and action and adventure. There seems to be a really good mystery in this book. Thanks for the review :)

Glad you enjoyed my review! So it looks like I did put something on Goodreads, but not Amazon. I can't necessarily put this exact review on either (as part of the OBC rules), but I am able to write something different that still reflects my enjoyment. I'll write something up within a day or two! Can't wait for the next one to come out!! :D

You have a wonderful way of summarizing a book hsimone! Concise, but with just enough detail for the potential reader. Well done!

Thank you, pyb, for your kind words! I definitely try to give enough details without giving too much away. It nice of you to acknowledge that. :)

This book sounds fascinating, although, I would have to skip the torture scenes. Good review!
