Thanks very much for saying so! It could definitely be seen as a controversial story, though the story itself was well put together. Thanks for stopping by!

Excellent, honest review. Unfortunately, I'm not into audiobooks. I prefer a print book that I can read and perhaps return to a previous page if I wish to clarify something. Is this available in print?

I enjoyed reading your insightful review. The concept of the story sounds really interesting. You made a good point about there being stereotypical characters and situations - for example, the mad scientist!

Sounds like an intriguing book. I agree that the whole serum mix-up sounds a bit cliché.

I love both historical fiction and dystopian novels, but cliches are not attractive to me. However, I think I will still check it out! Thanks for the great review!

Well, I guess I shall listen to the book instead of reading it. Glad i looked at reviews first, perhaps I wouldnt have finished reading it if its been done poorly.

Yep, historical fiction with an emphasis on fiction because it doesn't really cover the history as much. It is a by-the-books fiction story about the war with some cool twists.
When it doesn't really delve into the history, or at least give good, accurate background, my interest is lost quickly.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.
