The former years of World War I are vividly pictured in Michael J. Cooper's Crossroads of Empire. I'm interested in Prince Faisal's track, and his leadership is noteworthy. Evan's investigation into his heritage also gives the narration a fascinating new dimension.

A book that gives us an insight into the fall of the Ottoman Empire intrigues me as a history buff.

Thank you for the great review.

The review of the book did not sound like it would be anything I would enjoy reading. I am not much into historical novels of WWI time period. It sounds like the author did a lot of research to write this story and did a professional job at editing.
Congrats on being BOTM.

A historical fiction story which is set during the first world war can be found in the book "Crossroads of Empire" by Michael J Cooper. The story is about the Arabs, who sought independence from the Ottoman Empire.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

This book sounds super interesting. Historical fiction is an intriguing genre for sure. And this book seems to be written with great precision. I'm intrigued to know what Evan will discover. I would love to explore this book.

I like the fact that the review does not give too much of the story away. The story being narrated from different perspectives is also something I am fond of as well as a reader. Even though there a book prior to this one, it seems that it can be read as a stand alone. As of late, there appears to be more books written about WW1 as opposed to WWII.

Great review! You hit all of the good points of the book and followed all of the guidelines. The book sounds interesting and I wonder how Clive goes on after his wife died and his son goes missing.

The book seems quite interesting and heartwarming telling us the story of Evan's life along with the history of Middle East and Europe during World War I. Though books about war are not my cup of tea, I'm sure this one will definitly find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

"Crossroads of Empire" by Michael J. Cooper delves into World War I’s early struggles, following Prince Faisal’s fight for Arab independence and Evan Sinclair’s journey to reclaim his lost memories. The intertwining historical narratives sound captivating, and I look forward to experiencing this richly woven story. Congrats BOTD!

Set during WWI, today's BOTD is a standalone historical fiction novel that continues the story of Evan Sinclair (from Wages of Empire - Book 1). Lovers of history and readers with an appreciation for exceptional storytelling, descriptive scenes, and well-developed characters are sure to stay engaged from start to finish. Thanks for your helpful review! Keep up the great work! :-)

Any book that has historical underpinnings usually catches my fancy and the review of "Crossroads of Empire” by Michael J Cooper didn't disappoint me either. It's a book I'd love to read. Thanks to Cooper for writing this book.

Crossroads of Empire is a historical fiction set in the early months of World War I, giving details on the Ottoman Empire . It's interesting that this book is a stand-alone so it's not necessary for readers to read the other first. However I'm not much of a history buff so I'll most likely pass this one. Congrats on BOTD.

You never know how hard it is to write a book till you try to write one. I have a book in the same genre I am trying to write and oh! You can never tell how hard it is.
The sample I read supports your review of it being an easy-flow book. I didn't even realize how many pages I was through till the stop sign.
Also, I had thought the Ottoman empire were made up of the Arabs? While reading on the Palestinian-Isreali conflict, it seemed to suggests just that. It gets more interesting to be honest and I am just going to research that more.
Nice review by the way.

The title fits the book. I have a liking for history, and I wouldn't mind seeing the author's perspective of the Ottoman Empire and Arabs. The perfect rating hints the book is worth the time. Wonderful review.
