A Celtic historical fantasy revolving around Roman and Celtic traditions, myths and legends sounds good. Catrin and Marcellus are back and have to make a choice between their love and their people. That the book was well writer, well researched, thoroughly organized, and well edited is to the credit of the author. I am glad you enjoyed the book and that it exceeded your expectations. Thank you for the enthusiastic review!

This is a historical fantasy fiction with a captivating plot full of romance, adventure, betrayal and legends. It is the second book in Linnea Tanner's Curse of Clansmen and Kings series. The onlinebookclub review was written masterfully and i rated the book 4 out of 4 stars.

I loved the first one and can't wait to see how Catrin's and Marcellus's impossible romance continues. The magic and mayhem in these books really keep me turning pages.

Thanks for the wonderful review. When is a call between responsibility and love the decision is very difficult. Would have loved to read the book but I do not enjoy historical fiction with war and politics.

Historical fantasy is my all time cup of tea but this didn't move me into reading it. Great review!

Thank you for your complex and thougrough review! I will be reading Apollos Raven first and adding Daggers Denstiny to my "want to read" shelves! Hopefully I find them as intriguing as you do!

Honestly I'm a history major in college and I've never really read any historical fiction. Oddly enough I've never even thought about it. But this books seems like a good one to start out reading. Thank you for the review.

I wonder what was the decision the Celtic princess chose? Fantasy is a really great genre but it also depends on how the story stands out for this type of genre. Nothing's better than sampling this read. Thank you for your thought provoking review!

Thanks for your review! The book sounds like a great sequel to Apollo's Raven. I really appreciate it when an author takes time to do research when dealing with historical elements and different cultures. I also enjoy that Catrin and the rest of the female cast are portrayed as strong and independent characters. Hopefully, Catrin will be able to find a way to balance her budding romance and her duty to her family.

It would be interesting to learn about Roman and Celtic traditions through this book. I’ll need to read Apollo’s Raven first to enjoy the complete series. This combination of historical fantasy and romance is well written by a talented author.

I have read the 'Apollo's Raven' book and I thoroughly enjoy it. Without doubt, I would definitely want to read this sequel .

As with book one, I just have no interest in this historical fiction tale, especially with the whole forbidden love spiel, so I won't be reading it, either.
