cristinaro wrote: 12 Nov 2019, 05:29 Great news! I've read and reviewed the first two books in the series, so I'm already familiar with Catrin and Marcellus's forbidden love story. I'm sure Linnea Tanner did a wonderful job again. I can't wait to read about the protagonists' adventures in Rome and Gaul. Thanks for your review!
I have read the book its all about the forbidden love story of Marcellus and Catrin whom brought forth a life but lost the baby due to the challenges she faced as Domicus Slave

It sounds like an interesting read. I especially appreciate that it gives the reader some useful information about the occurrences in the preceding books

I saw this book's cover page and was struck by something that I couldn't explain. I'm so intrigued that it's part of a three-series collection.
I'm grateful for the review.

I had my doubts about reading this as a standalone. Thank you for the tip. I enjoy historical romance novels but I admit never this far in history. I don't mind regency. I haven't read much of medieval. Fantastic review.

The book seems to be intriguing and contains
Romances with some historical times of the Romans and Celtics. Will definitely read this book. The review is expressive.

From its cover page, the book seems to be interesting and fully packed with actions. The availability of the review also gave an insight on what the book is about(historical romance fiction story).

I appreciate the author's effort to include a short summary of the book's prequel. I'm currently reviewing a book which is a part of a series, and I have to google things I don't understand in the book. Fortunately, the author provides a website where I can read insights or concepts which aren't introduced in the book I'm currently reading. Sorry, I got off the topic. I liked your review though. I liked your overview of the story. It seemed interesting, especially Catrin's character.

This historical romance is definitely a wonderful read for fans of this genre. I like it that the author has provided a summary of previous two books at the beginning of the book, which will make it easier to read this third one as a standalone read. However, I'm not a fan of this genre. Otherwise, congrats on the BOTD!

A very much interesting romantic historical fiction story in the book "Amulet's Rapture" by Linnea Tanner, which revolves around the romance of Marcellus Antonius who is a Roman soldier, and Catrin who is a Cantiaci Druid warrior. Well crafted character of Catrin shown to endure a lot of physical and emotional suffering makes the story captivating to read.

Amulet's Rapture is the third book. I enjoyed Apollo’s Raven a couple of years ago. This carefully written story continues the tale of the forbidden love and relationship between Catrin, the warrior Druid princess, and Marcellus, a Roman Tribune. I like the maps at the beginning of the book and the summary of the prior 2 stories. This should appeal to readers of this series and those that like ancient history and myths. Thanks for the great review of this book.

Spectacular! I enjoyed how you highlighted the main characters in the story and how the reader gets to feel them, I also love the Female Warrior! The mix of historical and romance ties it together for me.

I enjoyed reading your review of Amulet's Rapture and I think you did a good job of summarizing the book. But, to be honest this type of book does not interest me. I like the idea of a strong female character but the way you described the love story made it seem like this strong female character might fall back in love with the guy that cheated on her.

Overall, I liked the positive aspects of the book you highlighted but it didn't seem like you have much constructive criticism of the book.

Thanks for the good review!
