One of the most horrific and shameful periods of human history. It's important to read about and remember what these people went through. Thank you for the review, I look forward to reading this book.

"Nazi's invasion era in Poland" is way too heavy subject to read about in my current mood. Additionally it hits a bit to close to home and as such I prefer to skip this one. Congratulations for BOTD and compliments for not forgetting!

Sounds like a historical informative book. The author did an amazing job putting together so much research into a storyline.

Being a fan of historical fiction genre, this book seems like a heavy, yet emotionally valuable, read. Thank you for such a concise and intriguing review. Definitely going to read this one. 🙂

The events of the World War keep coming up. I might read this book because it touches on the notorious SS.
Great review.

Sounds so interesting. I like historical fiction books and I am interested to learn about what happened to the Jews by the Nazi's. However, it seems a bit too heavy to read descriptions of torture..perhaps I will leave it for a later date
Reading gives us somewhere to go when we have to stay where we are

Wow! I didn't expect this book to be this exciting! All the details that the author gave was so impressive. It made me feel like I am in the era where Germans persecute Nazis. Great book. Highly recommended for those who loves history and thrill as well! :techie-studyingbrown:

This sounds like an interesting historical novel but at the sage fine it’s too disheartening to read.

Why Harran is so concerned about Brygida's survival and teaching her skills makes me interested to dig into this model and find out how and know how they will battle(and hope they win!) against oppression by the Germans.

Thankfully, this review makes sense of a story that seems disjointed in the Amazon sample. It looks like a book I would definitely read.

Wow! Great review! I wasn't sure that this book would interest me despite historical fiction being a genre that I do frequent, but you hooked me with your review and I'm eager to check this book out and see what happens to the characters in this story! Thank you for the engaging review!
