I think what I found most fascinating about novels such as these is the author's ability to tie in factual stories and events with fictional actions and characters. It makes the story more enjoyable at a certain level.

I have never been one to research a lot on the world wars, but this book actually piqued my interest. A brilliant historical friction that has the plot and enough suspense to take you on a journey to the past, having your mouth watering for more every moment of the way. The characters are unique and very capable of taking the story to heights the readers least expect. I really love this book, it has all it takes and has earn the BOTD. So, congratulations Luis.

A historical fiction novel but with a lot of information on world war II. The author has a great way of telling his story and with so much history, it doesn't get any more interesting. The author gives an elaborate history on characters too and it's easier to connect with them. A book I've really enjoyed reading a sample of. Am glad I learnt alot on what was happening during that period.

The summary of the book intrigues me. I love reading books on WWI and II. I want to read more about your observation on the author's bias towards the British. Thanks for this detailed review.

I already read too many WWII books, so I'll skip this for now. I avoid overly political stories, especially when they're set in the America and Europe. The details would be unfamiliar and confusing to me. Right now, I prefer a setting in Asia because that's where I live. Congratulations on the BOTD.

The reviewer did an awesome job in compiling this review. However I'm not a lover of war stories, hence, I didn't find it too enjoyable. Nevertheless, the several plots incorporated made the story-line intriguing. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

It seems to be a good historical novel about World War II, but I'm not very interested in this kind of book. I hope other people will enjoy it and find it interesting and informative!
