Beni seems to have been roped in drug addiction by Patricia. It's intriguing that he has two vastly different tattoos; one of grip reaper and one of Jesus. While Marquise's injury during service paved his way to addiction. Congratulations on BOTD!

Addiction, of any kind, is a hard struggle to overcome. And it's worse when that person has a family who notices the changes and is not able to intervene.

The book focuses on the themes of addiction and redemption, through the lives of Beni and Marquise. The book is easy to read with great character development and a relatable storyline. With the rampant abuse of drugs this book is an appropriate reminder that anyone is capable of redemption. Thank you for your great review.

Sounds like a thought provoking tale on addiction and how it affects one's environment more than oneself. Will surely read this one, especially for the music.

Every addiction is bad...Drugs and alcohol addiction is something very few can come over. As the title suggests I guess Beni and Marquise came over it and I'll like to see how they did it!

I am delighted the book handles addiction from a wider angle and still focuses on its effects on those around the individuals suffering from it. It is true that influence is a great determinant to people using drugs.

I want to know how beni will manage to escape from the addiction. It may give us some lesson.

The review is absolutely amazing and true because addiction is something very bad more especially with alcohol and other things and it affects someone for the rest one's life. I enjoyed the read, thanks to the author.

It's interesting to note that Beni represents many young people out there who have fallen into bad habits despite their family's good standing. However, I was on the outset impressed by his wits and I am therefore, surprised to learn from your review that he continued with his addiction even in his married and family life.

I like that this book highlights addiction through both characters. I'm curious to see what happens to both Beni and Marquise and if they are able to overcome their addiction. Congratulations on making book of the day!
