Nice review. But there is a samll correction that has to be made. You have mentioned that this is non-fiction, but the author has mentioned that this contains non-fictional as well as fictional details. So I think it is better to consider this as historical fiction.

This is very intriguing! I would love to learn more about the holocaust as well as the other strange history of the author regarding the amount of twins in her family during this time. The author's proper research is definitely another plus. Congrats on BOTD

This book gives you a glimpse of how the holocaust destroyed families by unveiling some untold stories. Congratulations on BOTD.

I do not know how the holocaust goes in line with this novel, which makes me wonder. I believe the holocaust happened and is not a story meant to gain recognition from the Jewish. Congrats on BOTD!

Discovering the Twins is a good book. The author gave a clear view of herself about holocaust and the twins in her extended family, I guess though she didn't tell us, she also wanted the twins and may be she also gave birth one day to twin. This has added me a more fell of having twins one day by God's grace.

Interesting review. I'd like to read about the secret the author's mother buried that opened the can of worms. Well done.

Family history is always interesting (at least in my opinion) and often contains an intriguing mystery and/or the answer to a long-unsolved mystery like in this book. The Holocaust isn’t the most comfortable topic, but the family history angle gives it a more personal feel that readers will be able to connect to better. I also like the author’s incorporation of Dutch and English, but I might be a bit biased since I have family members who lived in The Netherlands during World War II. Thank you for the helpful review.

This book will be an excellent read for those who enjoy history, particularly WWII, Jewish history and the holocaust. With the author's attention to detail and telling of their own family's history, they bring personal struggles to the forefront without ignoring the rest of the world. Thank you for your review!

Twins are intriguing and for them to run in the family is usual. When this happens the females usually know about it because it runs on the mother’s side. To mix this with the author’s own family history and the Holocaust makes for an interesting story. The Amazon sample of *Discovering Twins* by Stella Claire ter Hart is interesting and will entice many people to read this story. Thank you.

I'm not a fan of books on holocaust or Jewish history, but discovering twins seem like a good book. Congratulations on book of the day
