The blend of history and fiction sounds very well done. I also like how the characters seem to grow and develop as the story progresses; that’s an important factor for me with any fiction. Thank you for the helpful review.

This was an amazing story, I found myself researching the true happenings of the ring after reading it. I loved the story and the way it was written.

Its Amazing how The Bridge literally becomes a bridge that brings Esther and Ben together. Its definitely a read for me and other people who like adventure intermingled with facts from historical events.

What shocking news were revealed? And what's Ben's true colors? Did Esther leave him for coming to know him differently from how she knew him? I will read the book to find out. Congratulations on being the BOTD

"The Bridge" by Andrew Palmer is a story about the Quebec Bridge disaster that occurred in 1907. Two engineering students named Ben and Esther are forced to work together on a school assignment about this disaster and they find that they actually enjoy working together. They start with an exciting discovery, the journal that belonged to the engineer that worked on the Quebec Bridge before the collapse. A starting discovery was this engineer was concerned about the bridge's construction. This is a thrilling book about friendship, the value of hard work and integrity. Good review.

This is such an interesting book, I like to read about university life centered stories because they are more suitable for my age. I'd like to uncover the secrets that Ben and Esther discovered during their exploration of the bridge.

I like historical fiction novels. They draw fictional tales from real events that happened in the past. It is intriguing how authors of such genres make fascinating tales out of such.

The book appears to be incredibly engaging. The only issue I have with these novels is that it can be difficult to distinguish between historical fact and fantasy at times. I appreciate the excellent review.
