A novel that follows characters from greek mythology, Aspasia and Pericles. The philisophical paradoxes in this work are intriguing, but I refuse to read the book as this isn't my cup of tea.

Sometimes, it feels as though love is doing too much because you cannot choose who you fall in love with. I feel bad for Aspasia being caught up in the middle, wondering what the future holds for her. Pericles is equally torned up with the pending decisions he is to make which can make or break his future. Congratulations on BOTD. I've read great reviews regarding Lara and Uri series. Now I'm reading this well written review which seems to showcase how good of a writer Winnick is. I can't wait to read Winnick's work. Congratulations on BOTD! I think you deserve it.

Yvonne Korshak's remarkable writing in Pericles and Aspasia breathes life into Greek mythology. Bold and thought-provoking, it explores paradoxes and delivers powerful life lessons.

I hope it works out well for Aspasia and Pericles and the law that forbade citizens from marrying foreigners.

What will Pericles do about his love for Aspasia? This is a pertinent question. And I would like to know if he went against his own law.
This sounds like a great read.
Congrats on the BOTD.

Despite the book's length and the presence of Greek terms, it's intriguing that the reviewer found nothing to dislike. It speaks volumes about the quality of the writing and storytelling. I'm excited to embark on this journey and discover more about Pericles and Aspasia's fate.

I loved how the review highlighted the author's excellent portrayal of ancient Greece and its mythology. The mention of Zeus giving birth to Athena through his head was fascinating and something I haven't come across before. It makes me curious to delve into this unique retelling.
You are yet to be the best version of yourself. Keep refining.

The book talks about the story of how Aspasia meets Pericles, who was a foreigner without citizenship. Both of them later fall in love despite their relationship's differences and obstacles but there is a problem they will encounter while moving forward. I like how the characters were well-developed, and the story was interesting. Nice review.

I am a great lover of mythology and this book reminds me of it too. Ancient greece is a very interesting place, magical I'd even say. Aspasia's story gets even more interedting after the new laws. I am invested and looking forward to reading the book.

I'm not so familiar with Greek mythology, but I sometimes like a history of ancient Greece. I wonder how Pericles manages his relationship with Aspasia. Thanks for the insightful review. As you mentioned, the slavery thing caught my attention. :tiphat:

The use of bold and italic print to differentiate character correspondence is a thoughtful detail mentioned in the review. It shows the author's attention to enhancing the reading experience. I appreciate such considerations as a reader.
