The historical fantasy storyline has been brought out well in the review. Thank you so much. I look forward to following Catrin's story. She seems like a great character.

First the topic then the cover. They bring out a feeling of getting to the pages and reading all what's in them. The flow of events is really captivating. It even makes one feel the whole story as real. Then we have the ravens connection that is so uniquely brought up.

I loved this book. Definitely a good read. The story starts off rather slow but I love how the author quickly introduces the action. I love the detailed flight of the raven and how we can vividly imagine Catrin's physical connection to the raven. I was left craving for more at the end of the sample.

I am a hopless romantic and a lover of historical literature. Historical fiction coupled with fantasy..I am hooked. I read the sample and I get how the quotes can be spoilers. A little blood and gore is expected when you have Celtics and Roman warriors involved. Your review makes me want to buy the book NOW!

Thank you for a great review.

The epic fantasy part sounds truly awesome but I'm not particularly thrilled at the idea of romance. We'll see I suppose. Nice review by the way! I just hope I'll enjoy the book at least half as much as you did :)

An epic fantasy full of mystery, intrigues plus romance to boot sure captivates me. The review was beautifully written thus adding to the attraction I already have for the book.
