I love historical fictions. A book that shows the basis of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict is my cup of coffee.

Thank you for the great review.

"... war, no more". The sample looks good for this book. It's interesting that you point to the relationships as your favorite part. Thank you for your review.

I am looking forward to digging into this book to know if Irish and Jamal will be able to unite their worlds through music and keep their relationship intact. I feel a lot of conflict on both worlds surfacing and challenging the couple as they hone their talents. Nice plot in a sensitive theme, this book is promising.

This looks like just the kind of book we need right now. A big thank you to the author for writing about the need to bring people together despite the negative imprint of societal expectations. Congratulations to the author on being awarded BOTD and I hope that an eager audience is found to read and enjoy it.

This historical fiction touches on a conflict I have heard much about in the news but have not seen many novels on. I liked the way you described the friendship and the idea to unite people with music. Thanks for the recommendation!

The novel sounds like an interesting espionage story related to the Middle East. I found the summary on the review very informative, while your opinions were also well justified. Well done!

Two teenagers, one Isreali and the other Palestinian, try to bring peace between their countries through opera music. Seems weird for a plot set in the Middle East. Still, I like its uniqueness.

It sounds like the character development was the highlight of this book. Great character relationships, believable actions and words and plausible personality features all go a long way to making a book enjoyable. Thanks for the great review.

I'm sad to say that this book doesn't really pique my interest. I would have liked to see you speak more about the unique aspects of the story.
Do you ever feel like you spend too much time reading? Yeah. Me neither.

Thank you for the last review. I like the overall theme behind the book and love that music brings the two characters together. I may pass on this book as I don’t particularly enjoy espionage or some of the other themes mentioned in the review. Thank you and congrats on BOTD!
