Just as we have supporters fans in a match, so we now have weepers who are to be paid for crying and weeping for the dead. Gushed

The review is written in a very interesting way. It seemed that I am the narrator of this story.
The reviewer has told the storyline very brilliantly and I am very excited about the story. She has a wonderful art of writing. Although I do not like family drama but when I get such a story and reviewer, I do not miss a chance. Now the remaining things later, I am going to read the story first.

Weeper is a long and emotionally taxing book. 400 pages that are slow moving but the character development is excellent. Augustus is sold to the military school to work and pay for his brother to attend the school. His parents never told him why but he became a success because of his hard work and caring for others. Being a long read I have only read the first few chapters so far but I am supposed to review the official review and I have to agree with 4 out of 4 stars. I am adding this book to my want to read shelf and will get to it after I finish the top books on my list.

This book sounds very interesting. A married man has a forbidden love affair with a weeper and gets her pregnant. Then has to raise their child with his wife. Wow, this is one story I will need to read for myself. Thank you for the review!

I had no idea that warners and weepers existed beyond African culture. The premise of the story is heartbreaking, but the story is an emotional eye-opener. Did Charlotte ever get revealed to Augustus? Thank you to the author for creating a masterpiece with great character development. I will certainly be reading this book next. Thank you for a wonderful review.

I'm not sure that I'm ready for a long and emotionally taxing read. It would, however, be interesting to learn about the warners and weepers employed at funerals around the time of the civil war. I'd also like to know how it all turns out. Thanks for the free copy.

What a wonderful review! I have just sampled the book, but I appreciate you describing a little bit of what I would have to look forward to if I choose to continue reading it. Weepers were a new profession to me too. From how the author wrote the beginning of the book, I wondered if that was where the story was headed. Thanks again for the great review.

Facing disdain from family and kin, especially for a child, could be very disheartening. However, it is encouraging that Augustus fought on. Great review.

Nice review! This book intrigues me. This is a very interesting time period and I love a good historical fiction novel. The characters seem well developed and I like how the author shows how they change throughout their lives. I wonder if Augustus ever discovers why he is treated poorly and if he tries to find his true mother.

Seems a different subject for common readers; they never think of reading such aspects throng the novel. Thanks for an insightful review, Stephanie Elizabeth. Yes, the tragic saga with emotional elements; hope, attachment, and affection through dreadful events what weepers feel!

This sounds both captivating and fascinating and a moving story. I am glad Augustus True was ready and able to weather all storms. Thanks for the review.
