This book sounds very intriguing. I would love to see these conflicts from the Iraqi and Syrian perspectives for a change, rather than an American perspective. The characters sound very well developed, and if this is done without relying on any stereotypes that could damage the demographics involved (and so far, I don’t see any reason to believe that), then the book could be worth reading.
