I would have loved to read about the Planet Venus but reading a lengthy book is sometimes difficult for me. Thanks for your review. Congratulations on BOTD.

Seems like I will enjoy the book as per the Venus angle in the description. Might finish it if the writing style is engaging. Congratulations on being listed as Book Of The Day.

"A beautiful adventure through time" is an appropriate description for this historical fiction novel. I especially like how each story has a unifying theme that ties the whole book together. One can clearly see the love of history by the author. Congrats on the BOTD!

One fun fact about the planet Venus is that it is the hottest planet in our solar system. I am curious as to how a historical fiction novel can contain references that point to this planet. Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

You have made a thorough review of the book, enough to show the common string in the entire book, that is Venus, without ending up giving the audience a spoiler. This serves to whet the appetite without telling the entire story. Keep up the good work.

"Star Bright" is a historical fiction story by A. F. Carcirieri Jr. Per the official review, this book is less like a conventional novel and more like a compilation of stories that all have things in common. I was immediately interested in this book with the first chapter focusing on Lucifer the fallen angel. While each chapter is about a different topic each one includes the planet Venus or the goddess Venus and while other goddesses are mentioned the stories do focus on the planet Venus' impact on mankind. Each chapter could stand on its own since they include conflict, climax and resolution. Very good review of a book I will add to my to-read shelf.

A good book to those who are into historical fiction and methodology. I have to pass this book as this genre is not my cup of tea.

A. F. Carcirieri, Jr.'s debut book is titled Star Bright. This book reads less like a traditional novel and more like a collection of connected stories. Every chapter emphasises how Venus has an impact on humanity. The author did a terrific job keeping my interest and the visual was dead on.

The length of the book was my main complaint. It seemed like it might have been cut down to more than one book or made shorter. Characters in one story may have an impact on those in another story according to their actions. Good one from my introspection.

This book is like an interesting journey through history with the common thread being the reference to planet Venus. I like that every chapter is a new story with dynamic characters. Your review is refreshing and a great summary of the books essence.

This book as said by the reviewer is unique because it is filled with lots of adventure and history. The book is well rated except for the number of pages.

I must say I'm very intrigued after reading the sample and the the review. I like the fact that the chapters cover a different aspects/characters but also that somewhere along the line it entwines with another chapter. Thanks for a stunning review.

This seems like a great book. I like the concept of each chapter telling a different story. It's a bit weird that chapter 11 is 346 pages long. The author should have found a way of breaking it down to improve readability. In my opinion this doesn't make the book less interesting. I would still like to read Star Bright.

When I read the excerpt of the book, I felt I would pass, but this review makes me feel it's worth reading. I love stories, and a good storyteller intrigues me.

I love works that show how much we have in common across the world, and stories about the planet Venus—and the various figures created for it—make up just one of these many threads of commonality. This book sounds like an interesting mix of history, mythology, and culture from around the world. Thank you for the helpful review.
