Thank you for your super excellent review of this Cajun cultural story that tells about many parts of how people lived during segregation and with racism, plus so much more. Great job.

This looks like a good book for people who like to read about thrillers with a bit historical fiction considering that it touches on black history. I think these readers would find it very interesting.

A historical fiction that highlights the culture and heritage of the Cajun people. This is the first time I heard about this so I'm quite intrigued.

This book would be a good introduction to the Cajun people for me. I love the themes promoted in the book. We can truly make an impact in our little corner of the world if we set our mind to it.

Blending history and romance with the realities of life is an interesting idea. It's great that the author chose to blend these topics and did so perfectly. Congrats on BOTD!

A legal thriller with a historical undertone sounds good to me. Also the racial aspects that clearly are present in this book interest me. Thank you for the intriguing, well-written review!

The historical background of Louisiana is very interesting. I think I could give this book a try, as I am very drawn to historical fiction and social inequalities. Thank you for this amazing review! I'd love to discover Noel's story and learn more about Cajun culture.

I normally don't read historical fiction but, this one for me is a page turner. I found myself lost in the story. I learned about how rough Cajun people had it. I'm happy that you made it BOTD. Congratulations 🎉 I recommend this one to anyone who has never read a historical fiction before. It's the perfect first read.

This historical novel involves the Cajun people who faced discrimination because of their race, and the underlying justice system connected to that social issue. Readers will learn more about the culture, history, and the hardships of the Cajun people. I'm sure many people of color can relate to Noel's experiences. Congratulations on the BOTD.

The Cajun people? I think I found this story fascinating and I expect more intriguing moments, especially around Noel, his love life, his experience in New Orleans and many more. I wish to congratulate the author on #BOTD!
