David's old world is vividly depicted by the author in his engaging and colorful diction. The book is thoroughly researched and presents the political, cultural, and religious lifestyle of the era in an engrossing manner. The author's interpretation of the Bible is used to illustrate historical fiction and the life of King David. Congrats on the BOTD. Nice review

Though today's book of the day is the popular story of the Bible, I enjoyed how the author refined and beautifully narrates the story. Lest I forget, the cover page is so captivating. Congrats on #BOTD!

I enjoy reading retelling of bible stories. David was a very interesting character. This modern retelling makes David's story seem very relatable and realistic. I have to commend the author on a job well done.

I love the story of David, his anointing, kingship, battles and marriages.
I especially admire his respect for God's anointed, even when he is his arch-enemy.
Great review. Congrats on the BOTD.

I'm not a fan of biblical stories, so this book is not for me. However, seeing other aspects to David's life could be a bonus for this book. Congrats on BOTD!

This historical fiction is focused on biblical principles. Although the review is great, I'm not very interested in the historical or biblical context. I thus will pass on this.

This book is perfect for anyone who wants to get a deeper understanding of the Bible. I like that the author incorporates war techniques from that time period. It's also nice that the story focuses on the story of David. I've always been fascinated by him. Congratulations on making book of the day!

I'm not a fan of religious books usually, so I think I'll give this one a miss. However, it sounds like something religious people would enjoy reading. Great review!

Congrats on earning the title of BOTD! I like reading books with characters from the Bible, so I'm hoping this one will be equally enjoyable. David has an intriguing personality and is quite relatable in many ways. I'm grateful for the free book. That is now on my list of novels I want to read.

I don't think I would be interested in reading a book on biblical history but this review makes it sound good.

Although I love the presentation, I'm not sure if I'll enjoy the Bible aspect of the book. Nonetheless, congratulations on being listed as Book Of The Day.

Review leaves me curios to find out the authors creative writing style of the Old Testament history. Those who enjoy biblical teachings and practical principles for living a blessed life might enjoy. I don’t typically read Old Testament but curious after the review that I may add to shelf! Congratulations on BOTD!

What an informative biblical book this is. Scriptural books intrigues me because they make me more informed of events in the Bible. I'm glad a lot of details about David were revealed in this book. Well done.

I have always enjoyed reading Biblical fiction and non-fiction, including the Bible, so I look forward to reading this book. The story of Saul and David is very convoluted and difficult to express so I admire anyone willing to tackle it even in fiction. Congratulations on BOTD! Thank you for your review.
