Crimson Heirlooms is next on my To Read list. Your description of the book is very thorough and convincing. I love an author who will take the time to do research, and then keep the tone appropriate for the era. I want to emerse myself. Get lost in the narrative. Feel like I'm there. You make it sound as if Hunter Dennis may just make it to my Favorite Authors list. Thank you 💕

This is a compelling review! I must read this, it's clear that this book managed to engross you, I'd like to have the same experience. I want to read some more YA. I'm just looking for something more realistic than what is on the shelves recently. This sounds like serious stuff and it touched you. Thank you for your review.

The Crimson Heirlooms

We're outnumbered twenty to one! Now that is a way to leave you hanging at the end of the sample. It's now a must read to go through the challenges to see how everything is handled. Gotta see some more through the main character's eyes.

Don't know about this one. Sounds good, and the cover looks fantastic, but really not that into historical fiction. I may give it a chance, considering it's well written, it it's low on the list.

I love the sound of this. Historical fiction steeped in mystery, and it's an era I'm interested in too! Thanks for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed it despite the minor typos. I don't mind wordy-ness, especially if the book will develop into a longer series.

Wow - What a great review. I enjoyed reading it almost as much as I did reading the sample of the book! I simply love how you described how it made you feel reading certain parts - you are an excellent reviewer!

I really like books on history and mystery too. It also talks about how a student realize he was being blackmailed and that tells us to be very careful about everything we try to undertake and basically our decisions. I will give it a try

Thank you for that great review. I was mildly interested in reading this book from the sample pages, however, your review has greatly increased my desire to read this book. Although I have read a few historical books, this one seems like it will be a great read. Mystery, intrigue, history and of course a little romance. Can't wait to read.
