Lovers of historical fiction wouldn't be disappointed when they give this book a trial. From the reviewer's perspective, I'm sure there's a lesson to be learned for family inclined and loyal personalities who at some point in their lives find themselves at a crossroad. A very good one.

It sounds like an incredible Egyptian historical fiction. Although I’m not a huge fan of historical fiction it still sounds gripping and interesting. I might have to give it a try.

I am not much of a fan of historical fiction, because I find it very boring, rather I love horror genre. But, your description invokes the feeling of curiousness and I am eager to learn about Egypt's history and this murder mystery now.

I love historical fictions with fascinating time periods. I have always been taken up by the acient Egypt especially religious reforms. I have been reading old textbooks looking for how they handled their religious reforms.

I don't read historical fictions that often but this is first the time I've come across that deals with Egyptian history. Based on the review, the story seems to be highly engaging with with some relatable characters. I also like how the book makes use of simple, understandable language.

The use of vernacular does not make the book appealing. It will obviously destroy the flow of the story. One will have to get the words translated. Requires a lot of work to read and am not into that.

I like that the capable royal emissary Lord Hani is at the center of the plot. I like that he was entrusted with the mission of keeping the peace in torn Egypt, but also the opportunity to solve the murder. Reading recommendation.

Ancient Egypt holds a lot of historical interest. The loyalty of Lord Hanis, without a doubt, is key to the story. Thank you for an amazing review. It captures the happenings in court, especially when there is a new king. There are feuds, misunderstandings, and unease. The story also includes a murder mystery. Religious and political tensions ring loud. The emissary, Lord Hani, is between a rock and a hard place. This historical fiction, based on ancient Egyptian civilization is a must-read. Thank you for this great review.
