Works of literature which race back against the tides of history usually have such delicateness in story or even characterization, that they often leave a lasting impression on readers. This is actually sourced from the considerable time spent in doing in-depth research. As such, they often allow for zero errors, not even typos.

When, therefore, we have Raven being officially reviewed as having zero typos, we have the author to celebrate. This is a book I would very much love to read, not just because it is error-free, but I get fascinated by works of history, and there are not too many novels dedicated to such dark moments as the Great Depression or even the many sufferings and graphic insults inflicted upon and endured by the Cherokees.

The world is evolving at such a fast pace that sometimes works like this help us keep up with who we are and how far we have come.

While we appreciate the author for being able to stew all of that in one soup, the fairness of our joint applause will be questioned if we leave out of our recognition the one who has taken the time out to carefully read this book and present us with a distilled review.

Another accolade for OBC, and thumbs up @ Jsovermyer 👍

I am intrigued by the fact that the book is a thriller that features a preacher as it's hero. I love a good historical fiction too and this sounds like a book I can give a try.

This story has a very unique storyline however it only appeals to adults or the ones who loved religions kind of story. Not to mention, people like me who have a hard time understanding the backstory needs to research what actually this story referring to. So for me, it's might not be my choice of book to buy.

The preacher Thomas is such an intriguing man. His love to help people and his availability for them is commendable. The use of the name raven is quite brazen for him. He embodies everything a leader should be. Such a wonderful review!

As I read the sample, I can agree that it's not a fast-paced adventure story that I usually like. However, the witty remarks of the protagonist made me smile. Fans of Christian novels on transformation will surely enjoy this one. Thanks for your review.

The book sounds interesting and the title is mysterious. I love the interpretation of the title Raven according to the Bible, when the raven was sent during the famine to feed Elijah. This book sounds rich and I love it. Congrats BOTD!

I think I read something super familiar with this book, I am just not sure who is the author. It has the same title and storyline. Anyway, I should just read this, right? So I can know if this is the one or what. It looks interesting and intriguing, anyway. Thanks a lot 🧡

Fiction hasn’t been favorite genre to read. However, I think I would enjoy reading this book. The title got my attention and I’m quite intrigued to read about the Great Depression and how the preacher helped the community rebuild their lives. Amazing review

I like the part where they cut the trees near the railroad so the train was forced to stop in their town. I thought it was ingenious. My knowledge of the Great Depression is limited, so I look forward to reading more about it in this book.
