I enjoy reading political thriller and espionage stories. While they are fiction, but they also provide some insights into the breakdown of political system in a country and how it came to be. This book seems enjoyable to me. Thanks for te review!

This sounds like an amazing book. Sabah and Jalal are both 12th grade students when Sabah overhears Jalal's father blackmailing the teacher to raise Jalal's grade. Sabah goes on to become a doctor and even serves as DWB. Congratulations on BOTD!

Reading the review, I can feel the tension of this story. And the intense scenes make the story more thrilling and interesting. With set in middle east, the story can interlink to true event in Iraq and Syiria. A great book I think, and the review is excellent.

Being a refugee is very hard. Lots of difficulties but this makes Sabah and Jalal's story suspenseful. It's a nice story and a nice review. Thanks for sharing and congrats on BOTD!

This is super timely for me. It's election time in our country and there are people who believe in fake news and want the worst for our country. It is crazy. I hope I can share this with friends. We might get something from it. Thanks a lot.

There’s a lot of suspense and action in this book, it talks on a variety of themes like politics, vices, corruption. It reminds me of a movie called 13 hours.

I am so intrigued of this plot and I can wait to see how things will turn out for the main character, Dr.Sabah. I am also curious of what happened to Jalal and if he also becomes a doctor like Sabah. This is action- packed and I can wait to have this read soon.Congrats BOTD!

The sample reading was a captivating bit of the book and I found my heart hurting for poor Sabah as he faced false accusations. I see from the review that there is even so much more to the story and I look forward to reading the rest. Great review!

I am still wondering what happened between Sabah eavesdropping and the time he entered medical school and his relationship with Jalal. The story sounds captivating. I am adding the book to my want-to-read shelf.

I like how this book, Refugee On a Pendulum by Jemil Metti raises awareness on the lives of refugees as well as their fate. It shows how they struggle to completely intergrate and blend in in a totally different cultural environment. This is a true life lesson.
