Looks like reading the book will get the reader dive into history lessons, especially historical events revolving around the Roman Empire. I would love to know more about Cleopatra, which is why I will read the book.

My knowledge about the Roman Empire and Ancient Egypt are all from reading Rick Riordan books only. I think this one would be interesting.

I wish they can change the book cover, I think it will be more appealing that way. But I think I would still enjoy this. I love history/fantasy books. I've read a lot about the Roman empire but not much about Cleopatra. I wonder why. Anyway, thanks so much for sharing this.

Caspar: Last of the Magi expertly captures many important historical events and sheds light on what rulers like Caesar Augustus, Cleopatra and King Herod were.

I have always heard about Cleopatra but I have not read any story of her yet. This is surely an interesting historical fiction with some adventure and romance. I enjoyed the sample on Amazon and would like to read it through. Good one from the author. Congratulations on being the book of the day. Nice review!

I'm interested in Cleopatra, but if the story gets too detailed about the political setup of her era, I'll have to skip it. I'm not ready for information overload right now. This book is best for readers who enjoy reading about historical events. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Caspar's life came to a turning point when he was invited to see the queen. He now enjoys access to authority, wealth, and influence. But he has to be careful in the decisions he makes, and the steps he takes as this could mean his rise or downfall or even his death.

Caspar's situation reminds me of many other mordern-day politicians I know. I'd like to read how he ends up. Plus, I like reading stories set in real eras of the past, like Cleopatra and the Roman Empire in this case. Congrats on BOTD.

I'm not sure this is a book I would enjoy. While I do love historical fiction, I'm not really interested in the time period of Cleopatra. I believe I'll pass on this one. Great review!
