I liked your review. It makes me want to read the book even though I haven't read any historical books in a long time. I really want to see this "type of English spoken" in the book for myself.

I can already feel the predicament, Nell faced at a young age. I would want to learn more of her story. Congratulations on the book of the day and a satisfactory review.

I don't enjoy reading historical fiction that much, so I will pass on this one. I find it very sad that Nell had to grow up so fast. Thanks for the great review!

Judging by the review of this book, Nell sounds like a great character. I also love that the book is set in the 1800s. For you to be treated like an adult from the age of 11 is another thing. Would definitely give it a read. Congratulations on the book of the day.

Many children in rural areas of the world, where children must assume responsibility at a young age, can relate to Nell's story. I thank the author for this publicity and hope to read the book someday. Congratulations on winning BOTD!

I usually enjoy reading novels set in a historical setting. And something that revolves around a female main character. So far, this book has everything I want in a novel.

This seems like a riveting historical fiction set in 1800. Nell’s life seems pretty challenging. She struggled hard and faced heartbreak and tough times. This book is on my read list!

Judging by the review, the book has enough charms to keep the reader invested in Nell's story, and books set in historical times always make for educational reads. Overall, the novel sounds worthwhile.

Your review made me want to read the book. I like the theme and the human stories in it. I like the main character already and I truly appreciate when the author does the research about the time period so that the story becomes very believable. Details really matter.
